AbstractThe rotation speed Lambda of the upper atmosphere, mainly at heights of 180-360 km, was evaluated from the changes in orbital inclinations of GFZ. The results indicate that the value of Lambda (in rev/d) decreases from 1.2 at 360 km to 0.9 at 180 km.
